GU PRODUCTS

Sam has well and truly tried and tested the GU range - in the last year alone he consumed approximately 250 gels - seems an awful lot but for a typical 3 day adventure race Sam can use 30 – 40 of them. "I especially love the Roctane Energy Gels, they are excellent. I have had a few of the multis serve flasks, which are a great Idea, I have one in my swimming bag and have a swig before training."

For additional energy Sam also uses Stroopwafels and Chews in both training and racing, and finds the drink tabs and electrolyte capsules are great and really important during hot weather.
